Based in Alameda since 2002, I offer professional quality guitar lessons for people of all ages and interests in the San Francisco Bay Area. I create a relaxed, fun environment for students of all ages, styles and levels, while providing a solid foundation in rhythm, harmony, and theory specially tailored to each individual's goals and interests.

My studio is centrally located in Alameda in the Fortman Marina, just behind the Alameda Yacht Club, easily accessible from all points in the East Bay including:

Alameda, Berkeley, Oakland, Piedmont, and San Leandro.

I have over 20 years of performance experience, recording and touring with Won Lump Some, Young Frying Rabbit, The Original Bedheads, and others. My bands have opened for The P-Funk All-Stars, Mike Watt and Nels Cline, The Descendants, Critters Buggin', Cat Power, Smog, Big Drill Car, G.Love & Special Sauce, and many more, playing in every kind of venue, from Idaho roadhouses to the streets of New Orleans during Mardi Gras, from Seattle's Offramp to Noise New Jersey.
